From: Capitol Tracker AlertsExample

Insider buying cluster: $ACME — 3 insiders, $4.2M combined

Three different officers/directors at Acme Corp bought on the open market over the past two weeks — not an automatic exercise, not a 10b5-1 plan. The CEO added $2.1M first, then the CFO added $1.4M a few days later, then a director added $700K this week.

Also in this alert: a new activist 13D stake in $WIDG (6.2% of shares outstanding), a planned insider sale of $14M at $FOOB filed under Form 144, and the CFO of $BARX departing per an 8-K filed this morning.

Grouped into at most two emails a day, only sent when there's something new — see the real methodology on the About page.

Whales (13F)

Why Capitol Tracker

Context, not just numbers

Highlights flag pre-scheduled 10b5-1 plan sales, IPO and underwritten sales, option exercises, and shares held through trusts or funds, so you can tell a routine sale from a real signal.

Straight from the filing

Every entry links to the original SEC EDGAR filing, so you can check any figure yourself. Insider highlights are re-checked against the SEC filing before they're published.

A public track record

See how members of Congress' trades have performed against the S&P 500 on the Track Record page.
