Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: your email address, collected when you sign up via magic-link authentication (handled by Supabase).
• Usage data: pages visited and general usage patterns, collected via Vercel Web Analytics (privacy-friendly, no cross-site tracking cookies).
• Watchlist preferences: tickers, politicians, insiders, or funds you choose to watch.
• Payment information: if you subscribe to Pro, billing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store your card details ourselves.

2. How We Use Information

We use your information to provide and maintain the Service; send watchlist alert emails (via Resend) when something you're tracking trades; send account-related emails (e.g., login links); process subscription payments; and monitor Service performance and reliability.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We share limited data with the following processors as necessary to operate the Service:

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting
• Stripe — payment processing
• Vercel — application hosting and analytics
• Resend — transactional and alert emails

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data on our behalf.

4. Data Retention

We retain account and watchlist data for as long as your account remains active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting capitoltracker@voxlabs.dev.

5. Your Rights

Capitol Tracker is operated by a sole trader based in New Zealand, and personal information is handled in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing — including under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or applicable U.S. state privacy laws. 6. Cookies

The Service uses minimal, privacy-focused analytics (Vercel Web Analytics) that do not use tracking cookies. Authentication relies on a session cookie required for the Service to function.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
